Best for bulky debris, not heavy debris
A 40 yard shines with lumber, drywall, packaging, framing scraps and furniture: material that takes up lots of space but doesn't weigh much per yard. It's the wrong choice for concrete, dirt or roofing tile, which will exceed the weight allowance long before the container is full. For those, use a heavy-debris dumpster.
Site requirements

You can, but most residential projects are better served by a 20 or 30 yard, which is easier to load over the side. Call and we'll check whether a 40 yard is really needed.
Can I put concrete in a 40 yard dumpster?
Generally no. Concrete, dirt and rock are too heavy for a large container and would exceed road weight limits. Use a smaller container for heavy material.
