The five price factors
1. Container size
Larger containers cost more to deliver and dispose of. But the cheapest dumpster is the one that's big enough the first time, because a second haul costs more than the size difference. See the size guide.
2. Rental length
Quotes include a set rental period. Keeping the container longer usually adds a daily or weekly charge. Be realistic about your timeline when you book.
3. Weight allowance
Disposal facilities charge by weight, so each rental includes an allowance. Going over it adds a per-ton charge. This is the most common "surprise," and it's completely avoidable if you tell us what you're throwing out.
4. Debris type
Mixed household debris, clean concrete or dirt, roofing and green waste are handled differently. Keeping heavy material separate can lower your cost.
5. Placement
Driveway placement is simplest. Street placement may require a city permit, which has its own fee. Difficult access can also affect the plan.
Fees to ask about up front
- Overweight charge per ton
- Extra-day charge
- Overfill fee (debris above the top rail)
- Prohibited-item fee (see what's not allowed)
- Trip fee if the truck can't access the spot
- Fuel or environmental surcharges. Ask if they're included.
Our approach: we give you one price on the phone that covers delivery, the rental period, pickup and disposal, and we explain any charges that could apply before you book.

- Donate usable items before loading
- Schedule delivery for when you're actually ready to start

Why don't you list prices online?
Because the accurate price depends on your size, debris type, weight, dates and location. A two-minute call gets you an exact, all-in quote instead of a starting price that changes later.
Is it cheaper to rent a dumpster or haul debris myself?
For more than a pickup load or two, a dumpster usually wins once you count fuel, disposal fees at the transfer station, your time and wear on your truck.
