Quick guest-count guide
A widely used starting point is one portable toilet per 50 guests for a 4-hour event. Adjust from there:
- Longer events need more units, roughly in proportion to hours
- Alcohol served: add about 20% more
- Hot-weather events: guests drink more water, so plan for more use
- Public events: include at least one ADA-accessible unit
- Food served: add handwashing stations

Event season in the Valley
October through April is peak outdoor event season in Phoenix, when weddings, festivals, spring training crowds, golf tournaments and school events all compete for the same weekends. Book early. Summer events are fewer but harder on restrooms. See our summer rental tips.
Backyard weddings and private parties
Home plumbing isn't built for 100 guests. One or two units placed discreetly at the side of the house keep the line out of your hallway and protect your septic or sewer line. We'll talk through the best placement so the units are easy to find but not in your photos.
Festivals, races and tournaments
For larger public events, plan restroom clusters at entrances, near food and beverage areas, and at the far end of the venue so no one walks too far. Each cluster should include an accessible unit. Multi-day events can get service between days.
Event cleanup
Big events also produce big trash. A 20 or 30 yard dumpster on site makes teardown much faster, and you can book it on the same call.

(602) 595-7860Common questions
How many porta potties do I need for a wedding?
For 100 guests over about 5 hours with alcohol, plan on roughly three units, plus a handwashing station. Use our calculator or call (602) 595-7860 for a recommendation.
When are units delivered and picked up?
Usually the day before or the morning of your event, and picked up the next business day. Tell us about venue access rules and we'll plan around them.
Do I need an ADA unit for a private party?
For private events it isn't always required, but it's thoughtful if older or mobility-impaired guests are attending. For public events, plan for at least one per cluster.
